"The Right Path"

  • Services

The McKenna Recovery Center is able to offer more comprehensive treatment than is available elsewhere in large part due to the highly credentialed nature of our staff and the organizational structure that allows us to reach Kauai (Ke Ala Pono-Kauai), Oahu (Honolulu Professionals Program) and the Big Island (Ke Ala Pono-Hilo).
We are able to facilitate services for
evaluating and treating persons with chemical dependency or abuse, as well as persons with co-occurring disorders and a program dedicated to persons with advanced degrees.

Professional        Confidential        Respectful

The McKenna Recovery Center currently offers chemical dependency treatment for adults and adolescents (Hilo and Kauai) and a professionals track (Honolulu),  in a professional environment with a caring and confidential manner.  There is a full range of treatment services available, including:

           chemical dependency assessment

  • Treatment of Co-occuring disorders
  • Family Component

              Philosophy

Our underlying philosophy is that chemical dependency is a treatable medical illness.  We believe in treating our clients with dignity and respect.  We assign no blame for someone who has developed either an addictive or psychiatric disorder.  We teach this philosophy in our treatment programs so that the guilt and shame which accompany addiction is eliminated whenever possible, and patients and their loved ones can focus on recovery.
